The Aoteakai Tea Ceremony Group invites you to attend the first Tea Ceremony Workshop of 2026, on the Urasenke Tradition of the Way of Tea.

It will be held at the St John’s Anglican Church, 6 Chandler Avenue, Royal Oak, on 7 March 2026, from 12:30 to 2pm.

The workshop will include an introduction to the basic concepts of the Way of Tea, and a demonstration of the art of tea making.

Participants will also have the opportunity to practise the procedures of serving sweets and tea alongside other attendees.

Bookings are essential, as numbers are strictly limited.

Cost is $25 for NZJS members and $30 for non-members.
